Morning

After breakfast, connect with your own guide and depart to see the most notable landmarks of Phnom Penh via tuk-tuk and Cyclo, the city’s original three-wheeled bicycle taxi that offers an exciting way to see this vibrant city.

The first destination is the Pshar Kandal, the oldest market in Phnom Penh, where you can savor delectable local fare like fried noodles, grilled meat with papaya salad, noodle soup, and sweet rice and coconut pastries.

After that, take a stroll around the French Quarter to see the colonial-era buildings of Phnom Penh. Admire the colonial-era train station’s Belle Epoque and Art Deco architecture as well as the city’s tallest religious building, Wat Phnom, a Buddhist temple.

Proceed to the Royal Palace Compound, which was constructed in 1866 by King Norodom’s predecessors. This is the most noticeable feature and one of the most striking multicolored Khmer-style palaces.

The Silver Pagoda, also known as the Emerald Buddha temple, is located next to the Royal Palace. Inside, there are several Buddha statues adorned with diamonds, emeralds, gold, and silver. After visiting, you can take a tuk-tuk back to your accommodation to rest from the midday heat.

Afternoon

Explore the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, which is also known as Prison S21. Learn about Cambodia’s dark past with English commentary. The prison’s four buildings house numerous exhibits. You’re likely to meet people who have lost family members during that time and are willing to discuss it with you.

See a video on the Khmer Rouge rule then drive 40 minutes to the Killing Fields after leaving the museum. More than two million people died as a result of Pol Pot’s dictatorship. You will have around one hour and fifteen minutes to tour the location. There is a map of the fields and a 15-language audio tour available.

Evening

Experience a traditional Khmer performance at the Plae Pakka Theater presented by the Cambodian Living Arts Association. After that, our driver and guide will drop you off at your hotel or another preferred place after the event.

At Khmer Tonics, the trademark spa of Shinta Mani Wild, you may also get luxurious treatments. The two treatment rooms of the spa are tucked away amongst enormous natural boulders suspended in the forest canopy. Take part in a unique cooking session as a skilled local chef leads you on a foraging expedition through the forest to find wild fruits, herbs, and mushrooms.

Morning

After breakfast, you’ll be driven in a 1930s Citroën to Ta Prohm Temple, known for its ancient vine-covered walls. Explore the temple with a personal guide who will share oral tradition, history, and folklore.

Start your journey from Ta Prohm to Angkor Thom, passing through the impressive South Gate. Explore the last capital of the once-powerful Khmer Empire, focusing on The Bayon with its 216 enigmatic faces.

Don’t miss the breathtaking view from the top of Baphuon, a massive temple mountain offering stunning vistas of the surrounding ruins within the old city walls. Spend your morning admiring the intricate bas-reliefs of the Terrace of the Leper King and Elephant Terrace, followed by a Royal Khmer lunch at Le Grand, a fine-dining establishment renowned for its legendary Royal Khmer cuisine.

Afternoon

Prepare to visit Angkor Wat, one of the wonders of the ancient world. Explore its intricate architecture and learn about the mysteries that have puzzled archaeologists. Angkor Wat boasts some of the longest stone carvings in the world and is four times the size of the Vatican City, making it the largest religious site. Spend the afternoon exploring its passages and chambers that once housed ancient treasures for an unforgettable experience.

Morning

You will be driven to Kompong Khleang, a large village on Tonle Sap Lake, in a Lavender Jeep after breakfast. During the drive, you’ll stop in the countryside for hot, sticky rice and see people tending to rice paddies during the rainy season.

Upon arrival, visit the Floating Village of Kompong Khleang, then take a private motorized boat to visit the Great Lake. Experience the town’s streets during the dry season and canals during the wet season. The buildings appear to float during the rainy season with water lapping at the verandas, and resemble wooden skyscrapers when the stilts are exposed in the dry season.

You’ll see where Bridge of Life operates, visit a pagoda, observe a stilted house, and take a boat ride to see a floating hamlet. The journey ends with a boat trip back to the harbor, where your driver will take you back to the resort.

Afternoon

Enjoy some downtime and relaxation at the resort. Later, reunite with your guide and take a 20-minute gondola boat trip through Angkor’s moats to Prasat Chrung Temple, where you may have champagne and canapés while watching the breathtaking sunset.
