Overnight in Luang Prabang

Wake up early and take a Tuk-Tuk to the peninsula to witness almsgiving where monks collect alms. It’s known as “tak bat.” Then, return to the hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast, go on a leisurely boat trip on the Mekong River. Visit the Pak Ou caves, home to thousands of Buddha sculptures. There are two caves, Tham Ting and Tham Phum, that you can reach by steps. Tham Ting has natural lighting, while Tham Phum is deeper and easier to explore.

Return to Luang Prabang after completing your cave exploration. Make sure to stop in Ban Xang Hay on the way back so you may sample some authentic, excellent rice wine.

Afternoon

Return to your hotel, where you may relax for the remainder of the afternoon.
